Subaru Tribeca Procrustean Limousine

I promised myself that I wouldn’t start with any sexual characterizations on the procrustean Tribeca but what the heck; take a look at that grille and tell me that this abomination doesn’t remind you of an extremely excited circumcised penis? And if you’re thinking that this is another creation from Billy Bob’s Texas Limos & Co, think again.

According to the guys at the NASIOC forums who broke the story, Ernie Boch of Subaru New England in Massachusetts had the idea for the Tribeca Limo which he then passed onto Subie execs in Japan. They liked it so much -bearing in mind the latest Impreza it’s not hard to see why…, that they gave permission for it to be built in Subaru’s plant in Indiana! -More images after the jump

’79 Corvette Stretch Limo That Starred In "Mystery Men" For Sale

We vaguely remember the plot of the '99 comedy "Mystery Men" starring Ben Stiller but the 1979 Corvette Limo that we found on e-bay definitely rang a bell. In the movie, the stretched Vette served as the super-villain’s (Casanova Frankenstein played by Geoffrey Rush) personal car.

The Vette’s transformation included extending the frame to over 23 feet (7 meters) total length and modifying the interior by adding two more opposing seats, bar, lights, and rear T-tops. Before its procrustean metamorphosis, the limo started its life as a 1979 3rd-generation Corvette fitted with an 185Hp strong 350c.i. V8 motor and an automatic transmission. ebay: Lamborghini Countach Limousine Replica

Once this project car is completed, if anything, you’ll never go around your neighborhood unnoticed. Unlike most of the Limos we’ve featured here at Carscoop, this is a replica, based on Pontiac Fiero platform and mechanics; thus meaning no actual live Countach was hurt during the transformation. Just in the extremely rare case that you’re interested, we added a couple of images after the jump featuring a finished 4door Countach Limo so you can get a better idea of what you're getting into -literally & metaphorically .

ebay: General Lee’s Lincoln Limo Sidekick

Here at Carscoop we love modified limo's but we find this idea totally stupid and pointless. Sold on ebay in Northern Ireland this Lincoln Towncar has been painted to match the colors of the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard. Capable of seating 14 passengers, the Porsche Cayenne Limo features an 170 inch – 432cm extended wheelbase and tons of bling-bling ornaments in its disco-ball-era inspired cabin.
