2008 BMW 3-Series Coupe By Lumma Design

Mostly known for its extreme conversions on BMW models like the M5 based CLR 500RS, Lumma Design surprised us with its overly subtle optic package for the E92 BMW 3-Series Coupe. Thus meaning forget about orange-clockwork paintwork schemes and 10-inch fenders.

Instead, Lumma equipped the 3-Coupe with a front spoiler on the lower part of the bumper, carbon fiber mirror caps and grille lining, headlight “eyelashes” and a discreet rear spoiler. Add the 19-inch rims in 235 rubber along with the Lumma-Design badges and there you have it: the complete exterior pack! Kitsch fans will probably also feel disappointed with Lumma’s offerings for the interior since options are limited to a set of floor mats and aluminum pedals/footrest. Headlight “eyelashes” aside -God knows now much we hate them..., not bad. -Click “Read More…” to see the image gallery

BMW 3-Series by Kelleners Sport

If you’ve been following our readings, you’ll know that we’re not exactly the bling-bling or fast & furious types when it comes to tuning. And luckily, Kelleners Sport’s proposition for BMW’s best selling model falls in neither category. The subtle, yet distinct aerodynamic kit consist of a front spoiler, side mirrors, side sills as well as a roof and rear spoiler. The exterior package is completed with a set of Kelleners Sport 19-inch 'vegas 2' alloy wheels in four finishes (black matt, black sheen, gun metal sheen and silver sheen), in sizes 8.5 x 19 (front, tires 235/35) and 9.5 x 19 (rear, tires 265/30).

Depending on the depth of you wallet you can upgrade the suspension components with different struts while Kelleners Sport also offer a larger brake system for increased stopping power. Finally, there’s an engine kit for the 330i that boosts power to 306 Hp (stock: 258Hp) and top speed to 278 km/h – 173mph (stock: 250 km/h – 155mph). -Image Gallery after the jump

BMW 350i: E30 3 Series With A 350Hp BMW V12 Engine!

The definition of a “Q” car or just profound insanity? Who cares, either way, my inner child just discovered a new imaginary dream-toy in the form of a humble looking late 80’s BMW 3-Series Coupe with a V12 powerhouse! Created in Germany the 350i E30 is equipped with a BMW 7-Series /8-Series derived 5.0-litre V12 engine tuned to deliver 350Hp @ 6.000 rpm and a maximum torque of 470Nm to the rear wheels via a 6speed manual gearbox form the 850CSi. And yes, we’re still trying to figure out how the heck the mechanic managed to squeeze a 5.0-litre V12 powertrain in that teeny-weeny engine bay. Amazing.

According to the magician -sorry, tuner, this one of a kind E30 V12 features several other goodies like a BMW Z3 M Roadster rear axle, E34 M5 rims and some other stuff from the E36 M3 which unfortunately, couldn’t be translates from the German-only site. What could be translated though are the 350i’s performance figures: 0 - 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.0 sec, 0 - 160 km/h (100mph) in 9,4 sec and 0 – 200 km/h (124mph) in 15,5 sec! -Continued: Click "Read More..." below

Rotary Powered BMW: E30 320i Fitted With A RX7 Engine!

Our hardcore readers are probably familiar with the term "engine-swap". In a few words, it’s the process of removing a car’s engine and replacing it with another, usually from a different model and make. In this case, a BMW E30 320i received an engine transplant from a third-generation Mazda RX7 -yes, the twin-turbo rotary engine that produced, depending on the version, between 255Hp – 276Hp! And that’s not all because according to our fellow blogger, this Malaysian bimmer boasts a JDM Mazda RX7 FD3S suspension and a Nissan Skyline rear axle!

We know what you’re thinking and we totally agree: BMW E30 plus RX7 engine equals big, trouble-steer. However, just in case you’re interested, the rotary-powered 320i is on sale in Malaysia for RM 13.000 (about $3.800 or 2.800).

PS: Albeit our fellow blogger says it’s a 1984 320i, unless the owner changed the rear-end, this is the facelift E30 that came out in 1987

BMW 330i Coupe: When The Fan Hits The Roof...

Seriously, how the heck did this Russian driver manage to tip over his sparkling new E92 BMW 330i Coupe? The only apparent damage on the car -roof apart, seems to be on the right hand side, between the wheel and the door. But wait; there’s a desperate blonde sitting with her head firmly attached to the BMW Z4's steering wheel in one of the photos and when there’s a blonde... If the translation we made is correct, the female driver in the BMW Z4 was somehow involved in the accident which ended with the 330i tip-top over aside on its head. Shucks, we’re starting to sound like blondes ourselves now… -Click "read More..." below for more pictures

-As many of you rightfully pointed out, its a BMW 335i and not a 330i -one exhaust pipe on each side. What can we say, it was late, we were tired , we deserve to be punished by driving a pink Aztec on 13-inch rims for a month :-)

2012 BMW 3-Series: Coupe, Break & Cabrio Renderings

Five years is a long, long time in automotive terms. Porsche could own the VW Group, Ford might have formed an alliance with GM & Chrysler to compete against Pinky Yiang-Yiang and Subaru could have filed a law suite against the 2011 Impreza's desginer... And with that in mind, we present to you Automotorundsport’s newly published CGI’s of the future 3-Series. Based on AMS’s previous 3-Series sedan rendering, the Coupe, Cabrio and the intriguing, to be honest, Break versions are all inspired from BMW’s 4door GT concept, the CS which was unveiled at the Shanghai Show earlier this year. –Continued after the jump
